FIRST: Make sure IMAP is enabled for your account. Go to gmail.com and try find it in Settings.

• Go to Messaging / Options (Left thumb button) / Settings / Email.
• Go to Mailboxes / Define one now.
• Select IMAP4.
• Enter your full Gmail address.
• Incoming server is “imap.gmail.com”
• Outgoing server is “smtp.gmail.com”
• Select your access point.
• Name the account “Gmail”.
• When complete, go back to Messaging, and select Gmail.
• Press Options / E-mail Settings / Connection Settings / Incoming e-mail.
• Set Security Ports to SSL/TLS.
• Set Port to 993.
• Go back and select Outgoing e-mail.
• Set Security Ports to SSL/TLS.
• Set port to 587.
• Your username is your full gmail address and your password is your normal password.
