Ok to set the scene here: Theres a drug rehab in the village I live in, and I live near the beach... Every week or so a large group of druggies walk past the road my house is on, and go look at the beach for rejuvenation or healing or some shit. Anyways, I was dropping my girlfriend off at home now and on the way back I passed said druggies.
There was a parked car on the other side of the road, and druggies on my side, and I didn't wan't to hoot and maybe cause pandemonium so I tried to sneak past them. Not a good idea. I got too close to some chic and I heard her scream and naturally drove a bit faster, smiling.
It wasn't like a bad injury or anything, maybe just a sore foot. Shame. Well they saw where I lived, so if shes got a broken foot or some crap then she can hop over here and complain! hahahahahaahahaa

Drunk again.
Got a little drunk with my dad, and gave him some new movies I got recently, and also set him up with some antivirus.
Haven't been drunk in a while (like 7 days or something) so I went out to a local shithole with my girlfriend last night to meet my friend Lee.
Lee started buying some shooters (nasty cough syrup type shooters) and pretty soon I was fuck drunk.
I don't really know what else to say. I didn't harrass anyone or anything. It was pretty dull. Oh there was some chic there that tried to flirt with me once, cause she thinks she's like the hottest shit in the world, and I totally dissed her. She was giving me dirty looks the whole time and we were all laughing at her.
I think I just wasted 2 minutes of my life writing this entry. I'm gonna go to dads place now and finish of the remaining beers.

The Quest for the Ultimate (FREE) Deployment Tool
My personal quest has ended today. I found a sweet little program called Inno Setup. By itself it's a bit crap, cause you need to script everything, but if you install ISTool aswell (a GUI for Inno Setup) then it all falls into place.
By the way: I do own Visual Studio 2003 Standard, but Using MSI wouldn't update new versions of software properly/wouldn't replace running files without restarting (!?!??!!WTF)/added multiple entries for the same thing in Add Remove Programs/etc. Basically the user had to go to Control Panel/Add Remove and actually remove the program before installing.
I won't go into how much ClickOnce deployment is the totally wrong choice for the software in question. I do love the idea of it though!
Compression is even better with Inno (using lzma/ultra).

Soooo my laptop drivers are crap.
I've had these horrible drivers for my notebook video (ATI Mobility 9600/9700 Series) that really screwed up a couple good games for me.
For example: Matrix: Path of Neo, I couldn't play past that skull lament ninja dude, cause my video would just fuck out, and also I couldn't play matrix on my dad's projector (which I borrowed so that I could play Matrix!!!?!? on a huge screen!??!?!), without the card crashing.
Of course I couldn't get new drivers because the company that makes the laptop has to release them (they've only ever released this one, and their site is pretty much nonexistant), and ATI just tells you to go fuck yourself basically (the drivers don't install).

So now that I've got my new drivers, when my card randomly crashes, instead of me rebooting and wanting to choke someone, I get a messagebox that says it has reset the video cause it was fucked, and a Dont Send, and boom I can alt tab back to my game. Wish I still had Path of Neo.
Actually the problem is probably with my card, but taking a laptop in and telling them "Sometimes it crashes" doesn't work, cause I can't prove it.

Fucking sweet movie. Oh my god.
I always wanted to be wolverine, but magneto is a fucking legend in this one. Damn I would rule the world if I were Magneto.
Yeah it got a bit cheesy sometimes, with the whole "Jean Gray just standing around and showing her massive power by making things around her shake" routine, which pissed me off, but not to the extent of actually not liking the movie, which is amazing for me.
Maybe it was when Magneto crushed those people in the cars, that was sweet. So many people died in this one. Gangsta.
Anyway, does Xavier/Scott/Jean live? Find out in the next episode of Los.. er X-men.

The Weekend
Didn't really do anything on Friday, apart from chilling and watching HellBoy finally. I got a copy of it a while ago, and the last 10 minutes was cut out. So I got to see the end, which was pretty crap. Anyways.
Got fucking plastered on Saturday at a house warming party/drinkup thingy. Shitloads of beer, brandy, etc etc. and some coinage. Also played a game called "I never", where you say "I never fucked my cousin" or something like that, and if someone in the room did fuck their cousin, then they gotta drink and get laughed at/beaten etc. I'm thankful that I was pretty drunk and can't remember much.
Still feel a bit sick.

Ok, Sin Episode 1 was pretty sweet. Not that I can remember much about it, cause it wasn't really memorable, but I still remember enjoying it.
Halflife 2 Episode 1 made we want to hurt someone. The game started cool in the beginning, and about halfway through I realised that I've played this game already. Like a year or two ago.
How can they release small chunks of an old game? And charge for it?!?!
Atleast make the engine better or something?!!!? Maybe they did. I don't care.
Gees. It would have been 1 hour of game play if it wasnt for this stupid crap at the end where I had to walk some people to a train, and protect them, like 1 million times. No, ok, maybe ten times.
Anyways, Sin I'll be playing again, actually I'll probably play HL2 aswell when it comes out, out of sheer boredom waiting for something as good as Condemned.
